All accounts are billed quarterly 30 days in advance. Any account not current by the 15 th day of the quarter is removed from the site.
All listings include:
A boldlisting of advertiser’s name, address information, telephone, e-mail and link to website. Each listing will also have a 50-word description. Text is entered by you the advertiser and is changeable at any time through a password protected entry to the admin area of the site. The site manager will review all postings, either new or revised, for accuracy prior to updating the listing. Allowing you to manage the content of your listing on a daily basis will help you to highlight any special promotions or changes in your property or business that may benefit the meeting planner or visitor.
Text and Graphic listings may upload a graphic picture of property or graphic logo* image in conjunction with the 50-word description. Text and graphics are changeable by advertiser at any time through the password protected admin section.
Map It: All listings will have the ability to have a “Map It” button next to their listing.
Coupons: All advertisers have the opportunity to enter information for a coupon. A coupon logo will appear next to listing and users may open and print the coupon. Advertisers are strongly urged to offer a coupon as it will enhance the effectiveness of your promotion on the site and will allow you to track the results of your advertising investment.

Site Promotion:
ShreveportConvention.com will advertise through Overture and Google AdWords for high placement in all search queries. Due to the number of links on our site, we also expect a high natural search engine ranking.
Since we will be using Overture and AdWords “pay per click” advertising for the site; advertisers are requested not to click through to check their ads using these sponsored search engine listings. Adherence to this request will help to keep the listing rates low for site advertisers. At any time, advertisers can click through on regular search engine listings usually found below the sponsored listings.
Site Statistics:
In addition to tracking the results of your listing on the site through coupon redemptions, Success Strategies will have statistical data on click through rates for both the entire site and individual links on the site. Reports will be available upon request prior to contract renewals in September of 2006.
Site Functioning:
All links on ShreveportConvention.com are open browser links. As such, once the site visitor has clicked-through to the advertiser website and closes that site, they will return to the ShreveportConvention.com site. This ensures that visitors will not be lost on their first link exit. If a visitor clicks on an advertiser coupon icon, a pop-up window will open showing the printable coupon. Once the coupon is printed, the visitor may continue to shop on the site for other services/coupons.
Technology Advisement:
ShreveportConvention.com is hosted on a reputable business host site. Every effort regarding minimum down time is implemented to maintain the site’s availability 24/7. Occasionally, due to circumstances beyond our control, the site may experience brief down times. While every method possible will be used to restore site functioning, credit cannot be given for gaps in service. Please feel free to contact Success Strategies for a status report at any time.
